ABOUT BRANDY YOWELL
Childhood years filled with art classes and a family rooted in both creativity and science laid the foundation for the career I have today.
After high school, I struggled to find my path. Somewhere in the middle of fumbling my way through undergrad classes and wrangling the beautiful chaos of school portrait days, I had a realization: an artistic career wasn’t a dream, it was a real, tangible possibility. So, I dropped everything, moved to Seattle, and earned my BFA in commercial photography in two whirlwind years.
While building my freelance business, I worked briefly as a photographer and photo editor for a major women’s e-comm brand. A few moves and more than a handful of “did-that-really-just-happen?” moments, I landed back home in the SF Bay Area.
Now, I run Bry Photo out of my studio, partnering with purpose-driven brands to create honest, impactful visuals.
